Hello, my name is Ray White, and I have a special touch for design. I have designed multiple vacation rental properties in Maui and Kauai—Hawaii is one of my favorite places! I’ve also enjoyed working on several condo residences in Palm Springs, where people love my mid-century/modern look. In addition, I’ve designed several of my own condos in the Hollywood Hills, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, and Rolling Hills Estates areas.

My favorite design styles include the Tropical look, featuring lots of rattan/wicker, palm trees, and lighter colors that create a “breezy island feel.” I truly enjoy “bringing the outside in.” I’m also passionate about Mid-century/Modern décor, which embodies the 50s look with splashes of color—this style is particularly popular in Palm Springs. Adding splashes of reds and golds to uplift the tone of a home is a personal favorite. I also love Modern/Contemporary design, which is sleek, sophisticated, and filled with upscale pieces that make a space shine.

One of my favorite designers is Patricia Iroquia from Argentina. Her pieces are beautiful and quite unique. I enjoy long walks on the beach and traveling to Hawaii, where I own a vacation rental on Maui. I often spend hours exploring my favorite stores, discovering the latest trends in furniture, accessories, lighting, and everything else related to design.

I currently reside in the South Bay of Los Angeles, in Rolling Hills Estates, and I love the vibe and people here. My business goals are to use my unique abilities in design and home staging to bring smiles to people’s faces and make them fall in love with their new homes, condos, or vacation rentals designed or staged by Raymond Scott | Staging Homes Express.

Originally from Chicago, I am also a Realtor here in Southern California. I’ve worn many different hats in the marketing and sales sectors, having worked at a major advertising agency and public relations firm. All of these experiences will help with my new venture, “Staging Homes Express | Raymond Scott.” I am thrilled to be doing what I love full-time in the design and staging fields.
